Everything you need to create flyers, from your first sign-in to bulk batches.

Important: usage is counted in images, not flyers. Some flyers use more than one image generation. For example, you may generate again to get a different picture, or a batch row may need another try. Every image that is successfully created counts toward your monthly limit, which is why we limit usage by the number of images: up to 100 images a month on the Starter plan. Your own allowance and how much you have used are always shown on the Usage page.

Getting started

  1. Register. Enter your name, email and phone number. We email you a 6-digit code to confirm. There is no password.
  2. Set up your business. Your business name, industry, address, phone numbers, website and a short description. You enter this once and it is used for every flyer.
  3. Upload your data (optional). A CSV or Excel file with one row per flyer. A starter file made for the industry you chose at sign-up is already in your account so you can see the format.
  4. Create. Go to Create images for one flyer, or Bulk flyers to make many from your spreadsheet.
How do I log in next time?

Enter your email on the Log in page. We send a new 6-digit code that works for 10 minutes. If you asked for a code and nothing arrived, check your spam folder, then use "Send a new code".

Creating a flyer

Open Create images and choose what you want:

What do I type?

For a professional flyer, say what it is about, for example Weekend brunch with live music for families, and add your offer if you have one, for example 20% off this weekend. The agent only uses facts you give it, so it will not invent prices or discounts. For a picture, describe the scene you want and, if needed, what to avoid.

How long does it take?

Usually under a minute. A progress bar shows what is happening and the finished flyer appears on the same page. Only one image can be created at a time on your account.

Where does my flyer go?

Every flyer is saved in your own private folder on our server and listed in My images with its prompt, date and time, and a link. Nobody else can see it.

Why did I get a picture instead of a flyer?

If the flyer agent is not available at that moment, or it could not design a usable brief, we still create the picture and show a short note explaining why. That picture counts as one image, and you can try again for a full flyer.

Posters

The Posters page lets you tick one row, or many rows, from your data file and make a poster for each. Search the rows, tick a page, or tick a range such as rows 10 to 25. Row numbers match your spreadsheet: row 1 is the header.

Flyer sizes for social media

Choose the size first. On the Create page, step 1 is the size, and the design for that size follows. Every size has its own page of flyers, its own templates and its own default design.

Default design for each size

Until you save one, each size uses a built-in design made for its shape (for example a big centred headline for Stories, and text along the bottom for landscape posts). On the Templates page, use the size tabs, upload or save a template for that size and press Make default for this size. It is used automatically whenever you make a flyer in that size, and it never affects the other sizes.

Where your flyers are

The Posters page has one tab for each size, with a count, so flyers are grouped by size. Each tab is its own page and shows only the flyers of that size. The editor opens a flyer in its own shape.

Things to know

A flyer keeps the size it was made in. To make the same idea in another size, create it again in that size. If there is not enough room for all the supporting lines in a short size such as a cover banner, the text is made a little smaller first, and the last lines are left off only if it still does not fit (the editor tells you). Pictures are made once at standard resolution, so very tall sizes such as Stories show the picture at the width of the flyer, with your main colour above and below; use Picture position and Picture size in the editor to place it.

Editing a flyer: text location, fonts, size and colour

Open any flyer with Edit flyer (from Posters, My images, the Create page or a bulk batch). The preview on the right updates as you change things, and nothing is saved until you press Save this flyer. You can open the same flyer again as many times as you like. Editing is free because the picture is already made.

Ask for a change in plain words

Type it in the "Ask for a change" box, for example make the headline shorter, move the text to the bottom, use a green colour, remove the bullets. The agent changes the words and the look in the preview. It cannot change the picture here - to draw a new picture use Change picture... on the Posters page and say so (for example "regenerate the image showing a garden"), which uses 1 image.

Add more lines

Under Words, press + Add a line to add another supporting line (up to 10 in all) and Remove to take one away. Every line you add gets its own row in Fonts (font, bold, italic, size, colour) and its own bar in Vertical position, so you can style and place each new line separately. Lines are never left off the flyer: if there is a lot of text, it is made smaller to fit.

Move text up or down (location)

The Vertical position card has one bar for the headline and one for each supporting line. Slide a bar to move that text up or down only. Every line is independent, and coloured guides on the preview show where each one sits. Press Auto next to a bar to let the flyer place that text by itself again.

Fonts for every line

The Fonts card has a row for the headline, Line 1, Line 2, Line 3, the offer badge, the business name, the website and the phone number. For each one you choose the font, B (bold), I (italic), the size (50% to 200%) and the colour (or leave it on Automatic, which picks white or dark to suit the background).

Colours, alignment and other looks

The Look card sets the main colour behind the words, the highlight colour, the headline and supporting-line colours, whether the text block sits at the top or bottom, left or centred text, ALL CAPITALS or normal, the headline size, the colour band behind the words (off by default, so the words sit directly on the picture; raise it if a picture makes the words hard to read), and which parts show (supporting lines, bullets, contact bar, offer badge).

Empty space around the picture

The pictures are square and are never stretched. In a size that is not square, the empty space around the picture is filled with a colour of your choice. In the Look card, set Empty space colour (Automatic uses your main colour), add a Second colour to fade from one colour to the other from top to bottom, and choose Picture fit: show the whole picture (never cropped) or fill the flyer (cropped). The colours and fit are saved in the template for that size, so every flyer you make in that size uses them.

Words stay off people's faces

The flyer looks for faces in the picture and keeps the words clear of them. With Headline sits at the: Automatic, the words go on the side (top or bottom) with more free room, and are made smaller, or the last supporting lines are left off, if that is what it takes. Turn Keep the words off people's faces off if you would rather place the words yourself. In the editor, purple dotted boxes on the preview show the faces that were found.

Picture position and size

Slide the picture up or down (never sideways) with Picture position. A picture that exactly fills the flyer has nowhere to move, so moving the bar makes it a little bigger to make room. Picture size zooms in (crops) or out: smaller than 1 shrinks the picture and the space around it is filled with your main colour.

Logo

Upload your logo in the editor (or on the Business page), choose its corner, and set its size (0.5 to 1.6 times) and its background (white, dark or none, which suits transparent logos).

Save the design as a template

When you are happy, type a name and press Save as template. A template keeps the layout and text style - where the words and logo sit, fonts, sizes, colours, alignment and which parts show. It does not keep the picture: every new flyer made with it gets its own new picture. Manage templates on the Templates page, where you can also make one your default or delete it.

Bulk flyers

Make a whole batch from your spreadsheet in one go.

  1. Open Bulk flyers and choose your data file.
  2. Tick the columns that describe each flyer. Each row becomes one flyer.
  3. Enter a start row and an end row. Row numbers match your spreadsheet: row 1 is the header, so your first flyer is row 2.
  4. Check the summary (number of flyers, estimated cost, images left) and confirm.
Can I close the page while it runs?

Yes. The batch keeps running on our server. Come back to Bulk flyers to see the progress and the finished flyers. You can cancel a running batch, and anything already created is kept.

Are there limits?

You can make up to 100 flyers in one batch, and one batch can run at a time. A batch cannot start if it would use more images than you have left this month, and a running batch stops by itself if you reach your limit. Remember that every image counts, so a batch of 20 rows uses at least 20 images.

Image style

On the Image style page you save prompts that are added to every image you create, including bulk batches.

Turn any of them off without deleting it. You can save up to 20. Your history shows both what you typed and what was actually sent to the image creator.

Data files (CSV and Excel)

Media

Upload your own logos, photos, videos and PDFs on the Media page. They are kept in your private folder and only you can see them.

Images, limits and usage

Free trial: every new account gets 10 free image credits to try the service. Once they are used up, no more flyers or images can be created until you sign up for a plan.

Some flyers use more than one image generation. We limit usage by images, not by finished flyers: up to 100 images a month on the Starter plan.
What counts as an image?

Each time the image creator successfully makes a picture or a flyer, that is one image. If you generate a flyer again, or a bulk row is made again, that is another image. Flyers made in a bulk batch count one image per row.

What is not counted?

Attempts that fail are not counted and not charged. Your saved Image style prompts, uploads to Media and downloading files do not use images either.

Where can I see how many I have used?

The Usage page shows the images you created this month, how many you have left, an average per day, a chart and a day-by-day table, plus the last 12 months. The count starts again on the 1st of each month. The Dashboard shows your totals.

What happens when I reach my limit?

You will see a message and no new images can be created until next month or until your limit is increased. Bulk batches that would go over your limit are not started. To raise your limit, contact us.

Troubleshooting

I did not receive my code

Wait a minute, check your spam or junk folder, then choose "Send a new code". Make sure you typed your email address correctly.

My file was rejected

Data files must be CSV or Excel (.xlsx), under 2 MB, with a header row and at least one row of data. Media files must be one of the allowed types and under 15 MB. We check what is really inside the file, not just its name.

"An image is already being generated"

Only one image can be created at a time on your account. Wait for the current one to finish, including any bulk batch that is running.

The flyer did not turn out how I wanted

Try describing the scene more specifically, add things to avoid, or adjust your Image style. Each new attempt uses one image, so it can help to refine your description first.
